Davanti Enoteca: Discover Italian Delights in Western Springs

Last minute going out for dinner. Made reservations for 645 at 3:30 PM. Upon arriving was seated right away at a two person high top table. The restaurant is a little crowded with closeness of tables. We didn’t seemed to have issues with pumping into customers or anything, but it’s gotta be very cramped for the staff moving around with bringing food, removing plates, clearing tables, etc. The food was very good. My girlfriend and I split a Italian chop salad, which was perfect size for each of us I had the chicken marsala separated; chicken, Marcella, and one side and on a different plate the pasta due to I’m not begging eating carbs at this time so therefore I wanted it separated. She had the shrimp scampi with linguine in which she enjoyed. For dessert, we had bread pudding, which is delicious and also two lemon drop Lacore on the house from the waiter Service was good. Atmosphere was cool. Definitely would go here again. Tried to get a booth, but boot are four tops and there was only two of us so they declined our request Bill for two was $112 which was not bad with the salad and the appetizer and one drink each The location would be great during summertime to go for a walk after finishing in downtown western Springs and go window shopping If you in the area, go in and grab a bite. It is worthwhile.

Wow! Great food, service, and atmosphere! The food was fast from ordering to receiving. Absolutely delicious polenta! Vegetarian and Gluten-free is Listed on the menu. Highly recommend trying! The gluten-free beef polenta is amazing and I love the presentation! And you must have the gluten-free chocolate Torte!!! So good!!!

We stopped by Davanti Enoteca on a bit of an impromptu visit and were pleasantly surprised by how quickly we were seated. It was during happy hour, which made the experience even better! We started with drinks, which were very nice and set a great tone for the evening. For appetizers, we ordered the Whipped Ricotta and Bruschetta – both were absolutely amazing. The whipped ricotta in particular was light, flavorful, and beautifully presented. For the main course, we went with the Apple Salad, Brussels Sprouts, and Polenta with Ragu. Everything was flavorful and well-prepared. The polenta and ragu had a rich, comforting taste. However, the brussels sprouts were a bit too salty for our liking, which slightly took away from the dish. Overall, it was a lovely experience with a great vibe, excellent starters, and friendly service. We’d definitely return – especially for happy hour and those appetizers

What an awesome place! The atmosphere was adorably decorated for the holidays, too. Our server, Duvan or Dovan, was amazing. He was the best. The group I was with said it was the best Italian food they had. I had a burger and it was by far the best burger I ever had…the meat was quality and it had cheese curds melted on it! It was amazing!

Dined here for Thanksgiving. Everyone from the hostess to Oscar our server to the Chef carving turkey were friendly and hospitable. Food was delicious. Attractive dining room. Reasonably priced wine list. Definitely looking forward to returning on a “regular” night.

Our evening at Davanti was fabulous. The service was incredible-Oscar was an excellent server! Scott set us up in a great spot with plenty of room with cozy ambiance. As usual the food was outstanding- the Pasta Bolognese was delicious and the Caesar salad was so well done and such a generous portion! For dessert get the Brownie with pistachio gelato! We will be back again soon!

Amazing food, great service (ask for Stefan), and reasonable prices. Totally fun atmosphere. We'll be back.

Have been here a few times and have always had a lovely experience! They have very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Their menu is expansive and everything I've had there has been delish! Only gripes I could possibly pick at would be the size of the restaurant and the prices. Granted you get tons of food, but it can get pricey VERY quickly if you're not careful. Still worth it though! Our favorites are the orecchiette, the focaccia, the meatballs, and the arugula salad.
